Prince Hall Masonic Temple

The Prince Hall Masonic Temple is located in the heart of the Central District on 24th Avenue South. Founded by abolitionist Prince Hall for African Americans on September 29, 1784, is a branch of North American Freemasonry. They host programs for youth and families, provide for gatherings, and host an annual Juneteenth celebration. Located on a street that runs parallel to 23rd Avenue South, this path is a little more quiet, while still being accessible to many other public amenities, shopping, and restaurants.
