Flo Ware Park

Flo Ware Park is named after Flo Ware, an activist who is recognized for her work advocating for more equitable living conditions for many marginalized communities—specifically children, elders, and people with lower incomes. This park is a perfect space for young children to enjoy themselves within community. There is a climbing wall, basketball court, swings, art structures, grass, and shade trees. Located at 2800 South Jackson Street, this park is very close to public transportation routes and several locally-owned and operated businesses.
