The Douglass-Truth Library is located at the corner of East Yesler Way and 23rd Avenue South. Named after Frederick Douglass and Sojourner Truth, this Seattle Public Library location provides a wealth of resources, including the largest collection of African-American literature and history on the West Coast, and well as public meeting spaces. This branch is ADA accessible and easy to access via public transportation (there is a bus stop directly in front of the building) a knowledgable and friendly staff and is remains a staple in the Central Area community.
